CLT/TSP Wall Panels

Multi-layer timber panels may be considered for walls and floors where factory-prepared elements and coordination with the architectural design are important. Panel composition, dimensions, connections and suitability for use are determined by the project.

Cross-Laminated Timber Panels (CLT/TSP)

Panels made from cross-laminated timber can serve as both building-envelope and load-bearing wall elements, as well as floor slabs. They are produced by bonding timber lamellas in alternating directions. Depending on the building design, panels may have three, five or seven layers. A rebate at panel joints can help limit air infiltration and increase structural rigidity. Panels can be combined with a range of finishing materials, offering flexibility in the architectural design.

A standard panel measures 1,000 × 3,000 × 130 mm; volume: 0.39 m³.
